The Deputy Minister and Secretary-General of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation of Thailand visited Sun Yat-sen University and other universities in China.

To deepen the exchange and cooperation in higher education between China and Thailand, Deputy Minister Danu and Secretary-General Dr. Pimphichaya of the Thailand Office of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (hereinafter referred to as the "Thailand Ministry of Higher Education") visited several universities in China from June 5th to 8th. Su Anjiang, General Manager of Boya International, and colleagues from relevant departments accompanied them throughout the visit.

On the morning of June 5th, the delegation visited Sun Yat-sen University, where they were warmly received by Professor Wang Fan, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee of Sun Yat-sen University, and others. Both sides engaged in in-depth exchanges on deepening cooperation in multiple areas. During the visit, they toured the Tianqin Project National Key Laboratory, and the Aquatic Animal Disease Prevention and Control and Healthy Farming facilities, guided by relevant experts from the university. In the afternoon, the delegation visited the Zhuhai campus of Sun Yat-sen University, where they were warmly received by Huang Shan, Party Secretary of the Tourism College, and Professor Xu Honggang, Dean of the Tourism College.

On the morning of June 6th, the delegation visited the Songshan Lake Campus of Guangdong University of Science and Technology. President Liang Ruixiong and others warmly welcomed them and exchanged views on cooperation between Guangdong University of Science and Technology and relevant universities in Thailand, including student and teacher exchanges, postgraduate studies for students and teachers, Thai students studying in China, and Chinese language learning. Together, they promoted the development of education between Guangdong University of Science and Technology and relevant universities in Thailand.

On the afternoon of June 6th, the delegation visited Dongguan City College, where they received a warm welcome from Executive Vice President Fang Weihua, Vice President Chen Baohua, and other school leaders. Dongguan City College introduced its basic situation, and both sides exchanged and discussed projects on high-level talent cultivation and scientific research cooperation, language teaching, youth teacher and student education, and cultural exchange, reaching a consensus on cooperation.

On the morning of June 7th, the delegation visited Guangdong University of Foreign Studies Nan Guo Business College, where they were warmly received by Lai Zhili, director and vice president of the school, and Chi Shengnv, dean of the Oriental Language and Culture College, and other leaders. During the visit, they watched a carefully produced Thai-language promotional video of the school, engaged in free exchanges on issues of concern to universities, and exchanged gifts. This meeting further promoted exchanges and cooperation between the school and Thai universities, particularly reaching a consensus on Thai students studying and visiting the school and teachers and students from the school studying and visiting Thai universities.

On June 8th, the delegation visited Guizhou University, where they were cordially received by President Song Baoan, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Vice President Zhou Shaoqi, an academician of the Eurasian Academy of Sciences, and other school leaders. Under the guidance of experts from the university, the delegation visited the university's Big Data National Key Laboratory, the National Key Laboratory of Green Pesticides and Agricultural Bioengineering, and the Chinese Culture Academy. This exchange provided new opportunities for further cooperation between Guizhou University and relevant institutions in Thailand.

Finally, the Thailand Ministry of Higher Education delegation's trip to Chinese universities concluded successfully in Guiyang, Guizhou, the "summer resort capital." This exchange provided new opportunities for the development of higher education in both China and Thailand. Boya International will continue to build new bridges for educational and cultural exchanges between China and Thailand.
