[Boya News] A delegation led by the principal of Nong Bua Lamphu De Liang Middle School in Thailand, who are part of the "Young People Around the World Look at China" initiative, visited our center and our partner universities.

As China and Thailand celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, in order to further promote in-depth exchanges and cooperation between the two countries in the field of education, Mr. Piti Yangklang, Principal of Nong Bua Lamphu Deelang School in Thailand, along with Vice Principal Mrs. Wathanya Yangklang and a delegation of ten members, recently visited our center as well as partner institutions such as Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and Foreign Trade. The visiting delegation was accompanied by and engaged in thorough discussions with Director Su Anjiang, Marketing Director Zhang Dongni, and colleagues from relevant departments, jointly exploring future directions for cooperation.

On December 5, a delegation from Namwut Riang School in Nonthaburi, Thailand, paid a visit to Zhongkai University of Agriculture and Engineering. They were warmly received by leaders and teachers including Yu Yuxian, Director of the Department of International Exchange and Cooperation at the university; Lai Ju, Deputy Director; and Yao Shaoxia, Head of the Division. The delegation was first invited to observe the “General Course on Artificial Intelligence” at Zhongkai University of Agriculture and Engineering. During the class, cutting-edge teaching concepts and innovative practical applications fully showcased the university’s remarkable achievements in AI education, providing the delegation with valuable insights and lessons for their own curriculum development. After the class, both sides held an in-depth symposium and exchange meeting. At the symposium, the two groups engaged in fruitful discussions on topics such as their respective schools’ development strategies and educational philosophies, and reached a preliminary agreement on future cooperation. This visit not only deepened mutual understanding between Zhongkai University of Agriculture and Engineering and Namwut Riang School but also marked the beginning of a new chapter in their collaboration, laying a solid foundation for deeper cooperation in areas such as academic exchanges, faculty and student visits, and cultural exchanges.

On the morning of December 8, a delegation from Namwut Riang School in Nonthaburi, Thailand, arrived at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and International Trade. Xiao Feng, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Business and Executive Deputy Dean of the Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies and International Trade, Yuan Denghua, Vice Dean of the School of Business, and Li Chunyu, Director of the EDP Center of the School of Business, among other leaders, welcomed the delegation and held a symposium for exchange and discussion. During the symposium, both sides engaged in in-depth and constructive discussions on implementation details of collaborative projects such as scholarship establishment, internship program deployment, and short-term business training programs. In the course of the exchange, both sides actively shared their respective strengths and experiences in terms of teaching resources, educational philosophies, and project management, and conducted meticulous consultations on key issues in their cooperation, ultimately reaching broad consensus. After the meeting, both sides jointly signed an MOU—a memorandum of understanding for cooperation. By deepening international cooperation, the two universities will take initiatives such as sending Thai teachers and students to Guangzhou for business and cultural exchanges as a starting point, working together to inject new momentum into the exchange and development of education and culture between China and Thailand in the new era.

On the afternoon of December 8, a delegation from Namwut Riang School in Nonthaburi, Thailand, visited Guangzhou Experimental Foreign Language School. Vice Principal Guo Yingtao and other school leaders, along with representatives from the International Department’s faculty, warmly welcomed the visiting delegation. The delegation toured the school’s beautiful campus and the school history museum, which houses a rich and storied past. They gained a comprehensive understanding of Guangzhou Experimental Foreign Language School’s educational system—from primary school all the way through to its international high school—and the remarkable achievements the school has made on its path toward diversified and internationalized development. Following the tour, both sides held an exchange seminar. During the seminar, teachers from China and Thailand shared their valuable experiences on topics such as educational philosophies and student management. The two sides also discussed the potential for future cooperation in areas including student exchanges, mutual visits by teachers, and joint curriculum development. This visit laid a solid foundation for launching broader and deeper educational collaborations in the future. After the seminar, both sides exchanged souvenirs and took a group photo, bringing the visit to a successful conclusion.

On December 9, a delegation from Namwut Rithai School in Nonthaburi, Thailand, visited our center for an inspection and exchange visit. Director Su Anjiang, Marketing Director Zhang Dongni, and Overseas Expansion Director Zeng Jinying warmly welcomed the delegation. During the symposium, Director Su Anjiang provided the delegation with a detailed introduction to the center’s development journey, its core projects, and the remarkable achievements it has made in promoting international educational exchanges. He pointed out that, leveraging its core strengths in international project management and professional service systems, the center looks forward to engaging in deepened cooperation with Namwut Rithai School on initiatives such as study tours during winter and summer vacations and programs for Thai students coming to China for study. Together, the two sides aim to build an even broader platform for learning and growth for teachers and students from both countries. The principal of Namwut Rithai School expressed gratitude for the center’s warm hospitality toward the delegation and expressed hope that, through the joint efforts of both sides, more Thai students will be given opportunities to study and exchange in China, helping them broaden their international horizons and deepen their understanding and friendship with China. After the meeting, both sides exchanged souvenirs and took a group photo to commemorate the occasion.
