Program Introduction

Short-term Study in Hong Kong and Macau is a program in which school teachers and students form a group and use the winter and summer vacations to go to famous universities in Hong Kong and Macao for a 7-14 day study and research activity. During the program, students will participate in thematic courses taught by senior professors in famous universities in Hong Kong and Macao, and visit higher education institutions, well-known companies, humanities institutions, and historical landscapes in Hong Kong and Macao. After the program, students will receive official certificates issued by famous universities in Hong Kong and Macao,and some institutions will also issue professors’ recommendation letters, transcripts, and certificates of study hours. Students who perform well during visits to famous companies will receive letters of recommendation from company executives. This program can not only increase students' knowledge and broaden their horizons, but also become a valuable experience for students to further their studies or future careers.

Program Highlights
- Micro-Study Abroad Program in Hong Kong and Macau's Prestigious Universities
  
  The program will arrange for students to dine in the canteens of the University of Hong Kong and the University of Macau, consult materials in the library, take campus buses, visit the University of Macau's colleges, and access the gymnasium, fitness center, and swimming pool, experiencing the learning and life at the University of Hong Kong and the University of Macau firsthand.
  
  Professional Course Arrangement
  
  The program will offer courses related to general education and medical themes. Each theme will be taught by senior professors or senior lecturers in the field. The faculty of the University of Hong Kong and the University of Macau enjoy high academic reputations and have high attainments in their respective fields, providing students with more professional course guidance.
  
  Cultural Visits in Hong Kong and Macau
  
  During the program, students will visit famous cultural landmarks in Hong Kong and Macau, including but not limited to the Hong Kong Palace Museum, Hong Kong Museum of Art, Macau Museum, Ruins of St. Paul's, and St. Dominic's Church, allowing students to gain a deeper understanding of the history, culture, economy, and technological development of Hong Kong and Macau.
  
  Completion Certificate, Professor's Recommendation Letter
  
  The main course professor will present each student with a completion certificate at the graduation ceremony, acknowledging the successful completion of the program and serving as proof of this overseas study experience. In addition, after the course, the professor will issue a letter of recommendation based on the student's classroom performance and report card.

- 1. Basic Information
  
  Program Duration: 7-14 days
  
  Applicant Requirements: Currently enrolled college students, undergraduates, master's students, and doctoral students
  
  Number of Participants: In principle, no more than 45 people per class
  
  2. Program Arrangement
  
  Accommodation Arrangement: The program will arrange for accommodation in star-rated hotels. Accommodation is generally in double rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and internet access.
  
  Meal Arrangement: Hotels include a buffet breakfast. Lunch and dinner are at your own expense, approximately 30-40 RMB per meal. Meals are generally taken in university canteens or restaurants near the hotel.
  
  Transportation Arrangement: Airport/border gate pick-up and drop-off services are arranged, and buses will be arranged for courses and visits. Students can take convenient campus buses during their free time.
  
  Visa Matters: The program team will issue invitation letters to participants and guide them in applying for Hong Kong and Macau permits and visas.
