  • Program Introduction
  • Project Advantages

Internship at a government-backed, formal enterprise
This program is initiated by the U.S. Department of State and supported by relevant legislation, with participation from students worldwide. Students will be matched with accredited U.S. employers carefully vetted by foundations designated by the U.S. Department of State and will be protected under U.S. labor laws and regulations.

    Tailor-made internship program
U.S. companies will develop comprehensive internship programs for students, leveraging hands-on experience to enhance their professional skills and practical application abilities, thereby helping them gain a deep understanding and mastery of the technical and managerial knowledge specific to relevant U.S. industries.

An English-speaking work environment with a global perspective
Through a 6- to 18-month, all-English professional internship, students’ English proficiency will improve dramatically. The program also helps them quickly develop a spirit of self-reliance and resilience, acquire independent living skills, and gain a deeper understanding of American culture and institutional systems.

    Good U.S. visa record
U.S. visas are among the most difficult to obtain of all national visas, but the J-1 visa is one of the types with a relatively high approval rate. A strong U.S. visa history can be highly beneficial when applying for visas to other countries in the future.

    Enhanced security safeguards
Throughout their stay in the United States, students are under the full supervision of the U.S. host institution and are provided with comprehensive medical and accident insurance to help alleviate the financial burden of healthcare costs. In addition, a local U.S. coordinator offers 24-hour emergency support to promptly address any challenges students may encounter in their daily life and work.

    Considerable economic income
During the internship, students will receive full income protection, which helps reduce the cost of living in the United States and alleviate financial pressure. Overtime is typically compensated at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate.
